Cultural Compass is looking for two categories of pictures:

1) Images of the monastery

2) Photos of yourself taken during the tour

Since everyone has different photography techniques, interests and approaches, the wide spectrum of images demonstrates how an institution is seen from different lens. The tour pictures help to give prospective visitors an idea of how the program is like. A visual sample if you like.

These pictures will be used on the Cultural Compass website so it need not be a high resolution image.

Your pictures will NOT be used for commercial purposes.

You must be the copyright owner of the pictures and you allow cultural compass to use them without any payment.
You can send as many as you wish.

As an appreciation, your name and your photos will appear on this photo credit page.

If you are a photographer, you are welcomed to list your website or add contact details of your photography business.

You can also share your thoughts about photography experience in the monastery.

In line with Cultural Compass’s support of cultural relativism, this photo initiative helps to communicate to the general public that a monastery is also a public place. People from different backgrounds and religions can come and learn about each other and in the process, build bridges across cultural groups.
