Sharing the moonlight 2005
To celebrate the Mid Autumn 2005,
Cultural Compass ordered 500 moon cakes for distribution to clients and
residents of O'Joy Care Services (counseling centre), Renci Hospital and Sunnyville (homes).
O'Joy Care Services
is a Voluntary
Welfare Organisation providing individual and
group therapy to address the psychosocial needs of the older persons and their
caregivers.
These needs may
arise from loss, isolation, depression, chronic sickness, relationship
difficulties, care-giving issues , and end-of-life and spiritual/existential
concerns.

Firefly Mission
volunteers organized a Moon Cake Party at
the Renci hospital.

The volunteers decorated
the place a week ahead. On the day of event, Firefly volunteers turn out in full force to
celebrate Mid Autumn with residents
of Renci hospital.
