Happy Birthday Cultural Compass

Cultural Compass will turn 4 years old in December 2008.

To celebrate this special day, we plan to produce a special collection of postcards featuring pictures taken by visitors who have been on the Cultural Compass tour.

The images should show the monastery or shots of the material culture. Please see our previous postcard collections for examples of images that are preferred. As a sign of respect, please DO NOT send images of people worshipping.

If you like to share your favorite shots and have them produced into postcards, send us a low resolution picture of those shots. You can send in as many as you like. You will be acknowledged as the photographer at the back of the postcard.

We will request the high-resolution version (at least 300 dpi) when your image has been short-listed. You need to own the copyright to that image and allow Cultural Compass free use of that image.

Closing date for last submission is 15 Oct 2008.

After this date, short listed images will be put on the website for sponsorship.

The photographer and the sponsor will be acknowledged on the back of the postcard.

We will also send you a set of your images as an appreciation.
